CitySeas | Goodbye EP
The meaning behind the “Goodbye EP” definitely shifted in the midst of the writing, recording, production, and even in the process of waiting for the release. The focuses of this project eventually became telling stories through the eyes of somebody else and working out the struggles of dealing with my own long term mental health issues. Some of these songs were written in my darkest days. Writing and music has definitely been cathartic and a huge part of the healing process for myself.
With all that, the Goodbye EP covers a lot of experiences from different perspectives. Hope you enjoy listening to these songs and even more I hope I’m able to encourage somebody dealing with depression, anxiety, and any mental health issues to keep going, even on the toughest days.
